MISS TALLIE ADAMS

Miss Tallie Elizabeth Adams, 84, of Orlando, Fla., formerly of Greensboro, died Tuesday in Orlando.Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville. Burial will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville.

A native of Raleigh, she was a retired employee of Southern Bell. She was a former employee of Efird Department Store. She was a member of the Pioneer Club of Southern Bell Co. and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

There are no immediate survivors.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.

Memorial service for Edward Justin Barnes, 86, of 1530 Trosper Road, who died Wednesday, will be announced at a later date.

Barnes was a retired employee of Cherokee Brick Co.

GIBSONVILLE - Wilbert R. ``Brownie' Bowser, 88, of Route 1 died April 20 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Pilgrim Chapel Baptist Church, of which he was a member.

A native of East Franklin, Pa., he was a retired employee of Graff Kittanning Clay Products in Worthington, Pa.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. LuVista Fennell of Gibsonville, Mrs. Mildred Starr of New Mexico; four grandchildren.

McClure Funeral Home in Burlington is in charge of local arrangements.

MRS. BARBARA GRIFFIN

HIGH POINT - Mrs. Barbara ``Bobbi' Winkler Griffin, 52, of Carrollton, Texas, formerly of High Point, died Wednesday in Santa Ana, Calif.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Sechrest East Lexington Avenue Funeral Home.

MRS. ROBERTA HEROUX

Mrs. Roberta Claire Whiting Heroux, 82, of Piedmont Center in Thomasville died Wednesday at Thomasville Community General Hospital.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Westlawn Garden of Memory in Clemmons.

A native of Glenns Fall, N.Y., she was a homemaker. She was a member of Saint Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville.

Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Joan Redden of Greensboro; brother, Robert Whiting of Glenns Fall, N.Y.; four grandchildren.

MRS. JOYCE INGLE

GIBSONVILLE - Mrs. Joyce Sutton Ingle, 61, of 316 Brightwood Church Road died Wednesday at Alamance Memorial Hospital in Burlington.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brightwood Christian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A native of Gibsonville, she was a homemaker.

Surviving are son, Lynn Ingle of the home; daughters, Mrs. Linda Minor, Mrs. Bonnie Hutcherson, both of Gibsonville, Mrs. Martha Lewis of Newport; four grandchildren.

The family will be at Bartlett Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence of Mrs. Bonnie Hutcherson, 6816 Kivett House Road.

MRS. VERLEY JEFFERIES

Mrs. Verley Leon Jefferies, 44, of 4218 Queen Beth Drive died Wednesday at Clapp's Nursing Center.

Arrangements are incomplete at Brown's Funeral Home.

MRS. HELEN KIDD

HIGH POINT - Mrs. Helen Holder Kidd, 68, of 2407 Clifton St. died Thursday at High Point Regional Hospital.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Sechrest East Lexington Avenue Funeral Home.

A native of Princeton, W.Va., she was a retired employee of Amos Hosiery Mill.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Nancy K. White of Winston-Salem, Mrs. Joann Russell of Thomasville; sisters, Mrs. Willie Brown of High Point, Mrs. Boots Shatley of Matoaka, W.Va.; brothers, Vance L. Holder of Salisbury, Max Holder of Coretta, W.Va.; two grandchildren.

MRS. BRENDA LIM

Mrs. Brenda Hill Lim, 39, of 1000 Glenwood Ave. died Thursday at her home following an illness.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Street Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Lim was a native of Maryville, Mo., and a bookkeeper for Monnett Carpet. She attended Rocky Knoll Baptist Church.

Survivors are son, Jonathan Daniel Hill of the home; father and stepmother, Harold and Ruth Hill of Holden Beach; sister, Mrs. Carolyn Hill Killen of San Diego, Calif.; brothers, Leslie Warren Hill of Greensboro and Michael David Hill of Bakersville, Calif.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.

MRS. SARAH MURRAY

Mrs. Sarah DeBoe Murray of 2231 Pinecroft Road died Thursday at her home.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenhill Cemetery.

Mrs. Murray was a homemaker and member of West Market Street United Methodist Church. She attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Survivors are husband, Charles H. ``Church' Murray; daughter, Miss Joan A. Murray of Greensboro; sister, Mrs. Isolind D. Clarke of Greensboro.

The family will be at Hanes-Lineberry North Elm Street Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. Friday.

MRS. LILLIAN PEARMAN

STOKESDALE - Mrs. Lillian Crouse Pearman, 84, of 8512 Vaughn St. died Thursday at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Stokesdale United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A native of Surry County, she was a homemaker.

Surviving are husband, Cecil Pearman; daughters, Mrs. Pauline Blake of Summerfield, Mrs. Louise Grotzinger of Holly Ridge; sons, Cecil Pearman Jr., Tommy Pearman, both of Kernersville, Donnie Pearman of Stokesdale; brother, Franklin Crouse of Reidsville; sister, Mrs. Mamie Mitchell of Reidsville; 12 grandchildren.

John Leon Perdue of 4213 Bell Orchard Road died Thursday at Wesley Long Community Hospital.

MRS. ROSE RORIE

Mrs. Rose Ruffin Rorie of Inglewood, Calif., died Tuesday at her home.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Godly Love Baptist Church. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park.

A native of Greensboro, she was a 1952 graduate of Dudley High School. She was a Nurse for Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Los Angeles.

Surviving are son, Terry Rorie of Inglewood, Calif.; daughter, Mrs. Jacqueline Hopson of Inglewood, Calif.; mother, Mrs. Laura Ruffin of Greensboro; brothers, Clarence Ruffin of Philadelphia, James Ruffin of Greensboro; sisters, Mrs. Mary Brown, Mrs. Naomi Brown, Mrs. Bea Booker, all of Greensboro; one grandchild.

The family will be at Hargett Funeral Home 6:30-7 p.m. today. Smith

GARLAND SMITH

Garland Lee Smith, 68, of 5200-B Fox Hunt Drive died Wednesday at his home after five years of failing health.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sechrest Funeral Home in High Point. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park.

Smith was born in Greensboro and lived in Archdale until moving back to Greensboro in 1962, worked 32 years with Piedmont Pie Co. and in 1973 joined Ward Home Improvement Co. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II, a charter member and elder of Groometown Baptist Church and member of its Ray Hunt Sunday School. He was a member of Woodmen of the World and the Edward R. Murrow Golden K Kiwanis Club in Greensboro.

Survivors are wife, Mary Jo Whitman; daughter, Mrs. Kathy Smith of Bassett, Va.; sister, Mrs. Lloyd Daniels of Greensboro; brother, B.N. Smith of Miami Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.

EDWARD TROGDON

Edward C. Trogdon, 67, of 5702 Parkwalk Circle East, Boynton Beach, Fla., died Monday at his home. He was a former resident of Greensboro.

No funeral will be held.

Trogdon was a native of Greensboro, a graduate of Curry High School and a member of the locally formed 686th Ordnance Company during World War II.

Survivors are wife, Mrs. Dorothy Crafton Trogdon; son, E. Neal Trogdon of Winnetka, Ill.; sister, Mrs. William A. Reade of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren.

CLAUDE WATLINGTON

Claude R. Watlington of 3902 Ludwick Lane died Monday at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hargett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.

A native of Rockingham County, he was a Korean War Army veteran. He was a retired employee of P. Lorillard, now known as Lorillard.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Ruby G. Watlington; sisters, Mrs. Rose W. Blackwell of Brooklyn, N.Y., Miss Barbara Watlington of Greensboro.

The family will be at the funeral home 7:30-8 p.m. today.

MS. BRENDA WYRICK

Ms. Brenda Jane Wyrick, 29, of 3301-H N. O. Henry Blvd., died Thursday at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Forbis & Dick North Elm Street Funeral Home. Burial will be in Westminster Gardens.

A native of Guilford County, she was a member of Church Street Baptist Church. She was an employee of H & H Sprinkler Co. She attended Guilford Technical Community College.

Surviving are daughter, Jessica L. Jefferies of the home; mother, Mrs. Elizabeth D. Wyrick of Gibsonville; sister, Ms. Vickie R. Bellow of Whitsett; brother, Danny J. Wyrick of Greensboro; half brother, Michael Ayers of Eden.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.
